In a historicmoment for international fashion, renowned Indian couturier Manish Malhotra will make his Parisian debut on Wednesday, July 8 at 8:00 pm. Celebrated across India and beyond for his work dressing Bollywood's biggest names and his mastery of intricate embroidery, the designer brings a craft built over three decades to the couture calendar for the first time.
The week will commence on Monday, July 6 with Schiaparelli kicking offproceedings at 10:00 am, followed by Christian Dior taking its customary afternoon slot at 2:30 pm. Tuesday, July 7 will see Chanel presenting two shows at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm—Matthieu Blazy's second Haute Couture collection for the Maison—while Giorgio Armani Privé rounds off the day with back-to-back shows at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, marking the first couture outing for the Maison following Giorgio Armani's passing in September 2025.
Other notablearrivals include Irish designer Michael Stewart with his label Standing Ground on Monday, July 6 at 6:30 pm. The winner of the Savoir-Faire Award at the 2024 LVMH Prize is known for his sculptural, pared-back approach to eveningwear. Dutch designer Duran Lantink will reimagine Jean Paul Gaultier on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:30 pm, bringing his deconstructivesensibility to one of couture's most theatrical maisons.
The schedule also welcomes back mainstay houses including Iris van Herpen on Monday at 12:00 pm, Elie Saab on Wednesday at 2:30 pm, Viktor & Rolf at 4:00 pm, and Adeline André who will close the Week on Thursday, July 9 at 4:00 pm.
Conspicuous by their absence are Valentino, Giambattista Valli, Julien Fournié, Gaurav Gupta, Miss Sohee, and Phan Huy. Fendi under Maria Grazia Chiuri decamps to Rome on the evening of Thursday, July 9 for an exclusive off-site presentation.
This edition attests to the French capital's enduringallure for exceptionalcraftsmanship, with 30 houses listed on the official calendar—an increase from the 28 that participated last winter.
