NFL clubs have officially begun their on-field preparations for the 2026 season as training camps get underway across the country. The marquee event kicks off with the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers, the first two clubs with their entire rosters on site, set to meet in the NFL/Hall of Fame Game on August 6 in Canton, Ohio.

A Season of Historic Firsts

In a highly anticipated rematch of Super Bowl LX, the New England Patriots will face the defending champion Seattle Seahawks in the league's annual primetime kickoff game on September 9. Furthermore, the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams are slated to play at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the first-ever regular-season NFL game in Australia on September 10, marking an unprecedented milestone for global football expansion.

Fan Engagement and Joint Practices

For the sixth consecutive year, all 32 clubs will kick off Training Camp by holding practices with club-led fan events. "Training Camp: Back Together Weekend Presented by YouTube TV" will feature celebrations spanning two days, August 1 and August 2, giving fans a first look at their favorite new and veteran players. Additionally, a growing trend sees 28 clubs scheduling joint practices with other teams, beginning on August 11, to simulate game-speed environments.

While 26 clubs are opting to "stay home" and hold the majority of camp at their respective practice facilities, six franchises will spend the entirety of camp away from their headquarters: the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
