Artistically, "Morning Dew (Donk)" is a captivatingcollaboration. The composition was co-authored by Beyoncé alongside illustrious hitmakers Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and Darius Dixon, with productiondutieshandled by Beyoncé and Williams. Reportedly, the track was initially earmarked for the original 2006 LP, making its emergence two decades later a remarkableresurrection of archivalmaterial.
The audio release was accompanied by a visual lyric video that repurposesvintage footage captured by long-time collaborator Cliff Watts, who also photographed Beyoncé’s iconicSports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover.
