The 25th edition of the Tribeca Festival has officially opened its doors in New York City, transforming the lower Manhattan neighborhood into a global hub for independent cinema and immersive storytelling. Running through mid-June, the event features hundreds of film screenings, interactive exhibitions, and exclusive panel discussions with industry legends.
The festival continues to be a beacon for independent storytelling, providing a vital launchpad for emerging filmmakers and a celebration of diverse voices in global cinema.
Founded in 2001 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff to revitalize lower Manhattan after 9/11, Tribeca has evolved into one of the most prestigious cultural events in North America. This year's lineup includes a special retrospective of groundbreaking documentaries and a new virtual reality showcase that pushes the boundaries of narrative art.
