Kith's &Kin FW26 Puts Pony Hair and Rope Twill at the Heart of Fall's Quietest Streetwear Power Move

Ronnie Fieg has built a career on the knowing nod — the wink exchanged between two strangers who recognise a grail on the pavement. Yet the quietest corner of his empire, the unbranded &Kin line, has become Kith's loudest argument for relevance. Hours before this story went to press, the New York label lifted the curtain on &Kin Fall/Winter 2026, a collection that swaps billboard logos for painted pony hair, rope twill and tropical wool, dragging the streetwear conversation onto firmly sartorial ground.
The outerwear-anchored catalogue reads like a textile obsessive's fever dream: textured canvas, studded leather, flannel jersey track jackets, a Cassius Moto Jacket rendered in painted pony hair, an Alonzo Jacket cut from indigo rope twill, and a Nico Shirt in striped cotton poplin. Nothing screams; everything whispers, with the kind of tactile confidence that has turned &Kin into the insider's answer to quiet luxury.
"Our latest seasonal collection introduces a range of new silhouettes with a focus on refined tailoring and luxury fabrics." — Kith, in the collection's official announcement
And then there is the shoe
No Kith season arrives without a footwear headline, and FW26 saves its biggest for the trail. Alongside the clothing, the brand formally debuted the Kith for Salomon XT-EVO, an entirely new silhouette that borrows the cult-favourite XT-6's tooling — Agile Chassis System, Contagrip outsole — and wraps it in a racing-bred upper of liquid rubber and engineered mesh, locked down with Salomon's signature pull-lacing. Two collaborative colourways land at launch, a primary-pop "Black/Yellow/Red/Blue" and a moodier "Grey/Purple," both carrying co-branding on the heel and footbed, with early retail chatter pegging the pair near $225.
Everything drops Friday, August 7 at 11 a.m. local time — simultaneously in Kith's New York, London, Paris and Tokyo flagships, on Kith.com and through the Kith App — a synchronised, utilitarian rollout the company has refined into ritual.

Why it matters
Context is everything. Kith opens a fresh Salomon chapter — the partnership's first new silhouette since the XT-Voyager — just as the sneaker market cools on hollow hype and warms to provenance. Fieg's playbook of scarcity, fabric-first craftsmanship and a collaborator index that reads like a culture map (this same week: a Cinelli bicycle, a New Balance 2011) keeps Kith perched at the quintessential crossroads of street and atelier.
Whether the pony-hair jackets or the XT-EVO prove to be the season's grail is, as ever, for the queue to decide. But if FW26 establishes one thing, it is that New York's most prolific streetwear institution still knows the loudest move in a logo-obsessed game is no logo at all.
